WWIl tour focusing on the resistance was wonderful. Chris was extremely well prepared and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend spending time with him as your guide. He asks ahead of time your specific interests so he can personalize the tour.

My wife and I had an incredible experience with Chris along the streets of Paris. His expertise and passion around the events of WW2 in Paris and beyond was both educational and entertaining. He knows his stuff and that can get complex, but he balances the complexity of topic with current anecdotes and wit. You will do a lot of walking--and then walk away with a far greater appreciation of WW2 history and how it helped shape who we are today, as global citizens. Really recommend this tour but also suggest attendees have at least a baseline knowledge of WW2's European theater. In the end, Chris provides an engaging conversation that will have you thinking, both about history and our current global political environment.

We spent a half-day with Chris, touring some key spots in central Paris. Chris’s passion and knowledge runs deep. He set a broad context to help us better understand the beginnings of the war and what both sides had anticipated. Chris was able to then dispel myths and outline the various economic, political and cultural factions that drove various actions on both sides. It’s complex, but Chris unpacked the details in a clear way, with a ton of visual aides to bring history to life. We learned so much.

Tour was scheduled to be 2 hours. The tour guide was a wealth knowledge on WWII. However the tour guide kept going off on one tangent after another & never stuck to a main theme. The tour guide kept talking seemingly without any conception of time. We left the tour after 3 hours & 15 minutes, don't know when it actually was finished. It was cold & windy day, there was no concern for the participants such as to pause for a bio or water break. Tour guide needs to improve on organization of his presentation & clock management.

Chris is the most knowledgeable person I've ever met on WWII in Europe. He is a walking “encyclopedia” (or I suppose "Google" is more appropriate). My husband has read evey book available on WWII, but he learned so much from this tour, and Chris sent him a list of other books and articles to read. We can't recommend this tour enough for WWII buffs.

My husband and I agree that taking the WW2 tour with Chris was the highlight of our visit to Paris. We are both interested in history. Chris is very knowledgeable on the Nazi occupation and the role of the resistance. He does an incredible job of weaving the he stories of people and places together. After the tour he sent booklists on topics that are of interest to us. We highly recommend this history tour.

Wonderful experience - very knowledgeable guide! Perfect tour Appreciate the guises experience and expertise
- Wheelchair accessible
- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
- Service animals allowed
- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- IMPORTANT ALL TOURS REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF 4 PEOPLE TO RUN
- For this reason bookings made less than 2 weeks before the requested date will usually only be accepted if they meet the minimum required number of people OR the tour already has the minimum required number of people already booked
- Booking requests made 2 weeks or more before a tour may be accepted still even if at the time the tour deosn't have enough people to run This Is because there is still reasonable time for more people to join the tour
- The guide resrves the right to cancel any tour up to 24 hours before if the numbers on the tour fall below the required minimum number owing to LATE CANCELLATIONS by people ThIs is unfortunate but does occur and is Inconvinient to both myself and the other remaining people who may now be effected I am NOT a large tour company who provides LARGE group generic Impersonal tours and to whom even multiple late cancellations have no effect as their tours are so large , I am an Individual expert guide who ONLY works with small groups providing higher quality tours So this means I have a very small margin between having and not having enough people on a tour to run It so please be considerate and AVOID cancelling within 72 hours of a tour unless due to an emergency or medical reason even though a refund Is still available up to 24 hrs before of course
- The right to cancel a tour that falls below the minimum number of people is exclusive of cancellations due to so called "Acts of God," Force Majeur and Medical or health related reasons for which a tour may be cancelled at any point Obviously this does NOT occur very often
- All cancellations made for whatever reason by the guide themself ,even within 24 hours of a tour are of course subject to a FULL refund
- The guide does not take cancelling tours lightly , especially at short notice and will only do so for the reasons listed above However they wil also propose an alternative date when doing so or see if there is a solution to enable the tour to still run if possible
- If a booking has been accepted more than 2 weeks in advance and by 3-5 days before the minimum number of people has still not been met the guide will contact the guests to notify them and discuss possible solutions If the tour remains below ther minimum number required
